You have read the books, set the goals, perhaps even found a spiritual answer that sounded right. And still it has not clicked into place. The goals never quite fit, because they were never built around who you actually are.
There is one step almost everyone skips. Until you understand how you are wired, which is exactly what your Archetypes reveal, change feels like walking uphill. Once you see it, living from your heart and being paid well for your gifts stops being a someday and becomes a plan.
I deeply reconnected with the parts of me that make me who I am. It was a moment of pure joy and gratitude. I felt like I had come home to myself.
My own three Soul Archetypes are The Lovers, The Innocent Adventurer and The Creative Nurturer, with The Knight as my Talent Archetype. Followed in this order, they became my Genius Flow, and the moment I lived from them, my work and my income finally caught up with who I am.
My Genius Flow is so much more than four archetypes in a row. It is my way back to myself. When life pulls me off course, and it still does, I no longer force my way through or push harder. I return to this order and move through it gently, beginning with love and self-connection, then inspiration, then creating and nurturing, and finally aligned action.
Any problem I am facing, in my business, my relationships or my own wellbeing, becomes clearer the moment I solve it from inside my Genius Flow instead of outside it. It is the one place I can always come back to, and it is the part of this work I most want you to have for yourself.
I was on a break in a weekend training called "Evolve Now! Passion and Purpose Coaching" created and taught by Pip McKay. I stood outside to breathe in the fresh air on a warm summer's day. I looked up at the blue sky and felt the world brighten around me. I had found myself. I had a feeling life was going to get so much better. And sure enough, it did.
Looking back, I realised the things in my life that weren't successful for me had been an uphill battle. I hadn't acknowledged just how much of a struggle I was making things. I accepted my path as a struggle. I thought it was just the way it would be. I was keeping myself in a bubble of delusion, thinking all I needed to do was keep taking action. Yet my actions didn't seem to align with who I was.
The clearest example was in my coaching and training business. From a young age, I felt a deep yearning for what made me feel alive and full of purpose. I wanted to learn about human potential and share this beauty with others. I took all the steps to pursue my passion. Yet I was not making much money, so you could say it was more of a passion project. It was like I had already decided I could not make good money doing what I love, and was unconsciously stopping myself from investing all my energy into it.
My business name was "Results with Lauren." Looking back now, I know I felt embarrassed about it. It didn't feel like me, but I couldn't pinpoint this at the time. One parent of a child I was looking after, on receiving my business card, asked, "Oh, so are you a maths tutor?" I kept the name anyway. Such was the nature of my blind spots.
Fast forward to the weekend where I met myself. All of this was about to change in a liberating and inspiring way. Only years later did I truly realise how disillusioned I had been. Such is the nature of unconscious limitations holding us back.
That weekend, I learned the three authentic energies that make up who I am. When I live in these archetypal energies, I am most passionate, most authentically me, and through them I contribute who I am meant to be. I then discovered my Talent Archetype, the energy I have become most skilled in and what I specifically get paid to do. Then we discover the order they have inside of us, which makes up our Genius Flow.
After this weekend, I immediately changed my business name to "Love Life with Lauren", because one of my archetypes, The Lovers, is all about love, intimate connection, and self-love. This was about truly feeling aligned with who I am and loving what I do. My business is now an authentic expression of me. I then went on to do the Masculine and Feminine Coaching training, where I changed my parental programming, and my side hustle finally became a full-time business.
My training company is called "Intuitive Heart Training Academy", and yes, there is a particular aligned reason for this name too. To me, this work is one aspect of my spiritual understanding and practice: a way we stay in awe and in connection with our most true and powerful selves, while also being connected to something greater than ourselves.
